December 20th, 2019 - The standard EN 215:2019 and the certification of thermostatic radiator valves

In April 2018, the technical committee CT130 of the CEN - European Committee for Standardization started the revision of the standard EN 215 which specifies definitions, requirements and test methods for thermostatic radiator valves.

The EN 215:2019 standard was finally ratified in July 2019 by all members of the technical committee and is therefore currently available for replacement of the previous version EN 215:2004/A1:2006 on the websites of national standardization bodies.

The introduction of EN 215:2019 involved the revision of the Keymark Scheme Rules.

The new scheme rules came into effect in version 4: 

CEN Keymark Scheme Rules for Thermostatic Radiator Valves regulation - 4th Edition 2020-01.

The Keymark brand licensee companies will have to adapt the technical documentation by 31/12/2020.
