Climate chambers and pressure cycles

In order to expand its range of testing services, SIET installed two new climate chambers and a pressure cycling test bench. The climate chamber of the calibration laboratory has lower temperatures limit at -70 °C and 10% relative humidity. The climatic conditioning chamber of the test laboratory has wider sizes and can accommodate components up to 300 kg in weight. Therefore, it is possible to carry out environmental conditioning tests with state-of-the-art equipment, programmable with specific thermal profiles and remotely controlled. The test laboratory chamber might be combined with the new cyclic pressurization bench capable of stressing the component with pressure cycles from ambient pressure up to 120 bar. A combination of the pressurization bench with the climate chamber make it possible to apply thermal fatigue and pressurization cycles simultaneously.
