Inspection at SIET from US Nuclear Regulatory Commission

On December 9 through December 13th, 2013, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) conducted an inspection at SIET S.p.A. facilities. With the major satisfaction of our customer, based on the results of this inspection, no findings of significance were identified: no observations, no violations, no non conformances.

The inspection focused on assessing compliance of processes and procedures for testing activities performed in support of NuScale Power LLC design certification application for new concept of Modular and Scalable Reactor(SMR). The SIET overall QA program, through NQA-1:2008 including 2009 addenda, is fully compliant with selected portions of 10CFR50 App. B and 10CFR21.
