Backflow Preventers

SIET S.p.A. is the only Italian laboratory accredited to perform tests on backflow preventers for licensing and granting of UNI conformity mark.

Tests are carried out in accordance with the EN 12729 European standard to verify:

• chemical resistance
• mechanical resistance
• endurance
• fatigue
• functionality

It is possible to perform tests on backflow preventers of different size varying from 1/4" (DN 8) to 10" (DN 250) with flow rate up to 250 kg/s.
